I arrived earlier than the Willoughby bin pick up trucks. So all the bags got taken out.
Not only is the verandah bag free it is maggot free! S
omebody put a pair of carpet tiles out there and the maggots thought it was hard ground and burrowed their way into the tiles. I threw them out in the Cousins bins. Likewise some dirty, wet towels that had been left on the floor.
We only had five cleaning vollies but they did a splendid job and all left on time. Tim, the vollie not Tim, the Cross got to practice an adoption and to impress us by talking to the adopters in Chinese! The smallest ginger kitten in the haven was adopted by a couple from China who found homes for 20 stray cats in China before coming here. She, with no English, worked with a vet there. He is very fluent. They both love Emily's Beanie. Emily and Annabelle were desexed and are tucked away from their kittens in Boarding. Beanie would have been first in line for a nipple!
Irene asked me to take a photo of Felicity. Here it is.
