This afternoon the couple who came on Wednesday and met Pirate Pete came back to adopt him.
I recognized them on Wednesday but didn't know whom they had adopted previously. So today they came again and I put their names into Shelter Buddy and "POP" it knew them and their details. And they remembered all the things that they were told last time. So the adoption went as fast as possible. (Until they gave me $100, in cash, as a donation from their sister to us. The Square wouldn't send a receipt to her email addy. Tim fixed it.)
As soon as they left with Pirate Pete, I looked them up and they had adopted Leon who lived happily with them for two years. [Search Leon to see. We seem to have only had one Leon]. I am sure that they will be even happier with Pirate Pete.
A photographer arrived just after Tim went off to get his lunch with "I am expecting a photographer" comment tossed over his shoulder. The photographer and I decided that the play place would be the best area for photos. Tim arrived and grabbed the kittens in the Palace. There was a photo shoot. I feed cats. The shoot was moved to Better Row and three of the five in Incoming were chosen to be snapped. It took one photographer, one holder of kittens and one mug with a wiggling stick to get the kittens to all look in the same direction.
I think the photographer was just having fun.
Check out this Sunday's Telegraph for the FABULOUS PHOTO of OUR CATS!
In the meantime, Romeo is settling down very easily at my house. We have explored upstairs, the verandah and downstairs. He doesn't mind where he is just so long as there is a warm body nearby to love him.
His wounds are healing nicely and he has cleaned his fur from beige to white.
