That is, Tim has only two more enclosures to put together. He has run out of a nuts. The fastening shop next door was closed by the time he realized that. They might have the right kind (as well as a nice dog). The hardware stores up the road didn't.
And I might have made enough hammocks for these last two. But the remaining hammocks are either the wrong size or need the nifty attachers that we got from the toys that Mariko gave each cat in the cattery four (?) years ago. I will have to devise an alternative so that those old ones can be used. And make some more for when boarders (expected on Sunday) go home.
I really was too busy to take any photos today. There were visitors. Some came to Roseville a couple of weeks ago. They live in Bayview so brought more family with them to choose. More opinions really don't make for easier decisions. They adjourned for coffee. Came back with dad who complicated matters further and then whisked off for a business meeting. Terry be warned. They may be back tomorrow.
When I left David was processing an adoption. I don't know of whom. He had the <F6's to give dinner to.
The vollies did a splendid job in the morning. The following photos demonstrate, courtesy of Umi, how difficult, and time consuming, it can be.
Hero Catsie dropped by with some chicken that was loitering in her fridge. It was so splendidly and finely chopped that we fed it to the kittens who LOVED IT. Thank you Catsie (again).
