Almost made it

I arrived very early at Safe this morning. Before the Willoughby bins had come. I would be able to put a trolley load, or two, of our bags into other peoples bins, I thought gleefully.

Two of the 5 in the stand alone in Incoming who are now loving the Play Place

But when I opened the Welfare door, a kitten whisked itself across the floor. Spagetti and co's door wasn't closed and they had spent the night running around. It took me some time to get them all back into their condo. Spagetti was especially difficult. Just like the last piece of spagetti on your plate when you can't use your fingers to scoop it up.

By the time they were back "home" and I had wheeled a trolly load of bags down to the sidewalk, the truck had come and emptied all the rubbish bins. Sigh.

But, yesterday Helen tracked down our missing Willoughby bin. Unit 8 had been using it. So I whisked it into the garage and later laminated three hand-drawn "19"s for each side and the front where Willoughby puts the unit labels. Let's hope that will warn unit 8 off!

Kitten in Incoming who only ate crunchies when she arrived but now won't touch them

Plump Calli who was recently moved under tough Tilly was adopted over the weekend. And Griffin was adopted this afternoon by a couple who took AGES to make up their minds even though they were only looking at him.

We only had 6 vollies this morning and they worked really hard. Two lots of boarders went home and I got their condo's sterilized while Sue was attending to Griffin's people. We will miss June. But we have Aziza back as a boarder. She is in Tiger's condo, in the gods just adjacent to the Palace where she used to be with her kittens. She is plump and much loved.

Didn't have time to take any photos except for Julie and Bass who were  posing. Earlier they had been hissing at their noisy neighbours (the kittens from Isolation). There was a gap in the "curtain" between the enclosures. I pushed a bit of cardboard to cover the gap so they can't see what Julie and Bass are up to in their igloo. Those photos seem to have disappeared when I sent them from my phone to my email. So I will just drop in some left-over Joy photos.
