All clean

Today, for the first time, there were no bags of dirty laundry left for other folk to take home. I just brought home one bag. The clean laundry shelves are all full. And a woman rang to ask if we would like more towels. (I said yes, please despite the full shelves today.)

Dawson seems happier in Welfare. He didn't have anything to say for himself this afternoon. But when he first moved to Boarding, he was quiet. So it may not last.

Goosy was out and about this afternoon. She was at the vet's on Wednesday. Must have had a good time because she doesn't usually come out of her sleeping box.

A young couple came to look at black cats. They liked the sound of Midnight on line but prefered Licorice in person. Licorice needs to go to the vet to have her gums looked at again. They were a bit inflammed when she went to be desexed. With any luck she will get the all clear and the lucky couple will have the black cat of their dreams. (They were both completely dressed in black and both black haired!)

We have a new occupant of Faith's condo. She has been called Kiki. She wasn't chatty this afternoon but perhaps she will catch Faith's chat.

Rose might be adopted this weekend. She is almost ready.

And Sybie is still putting on weight with extra bottle feeds. Gotta love those blue eyes.

And, gotta love the Gymea lily at ground level. Probably the only chance we will ever get of being face to face with one.
