We have been waiting for updated photos from his owner but they are having too much fun to get back to us
Archie
1 week: “We have
decided to rename Archie to Donny! He’s settling in well, eating,
drinking and using his litter box. He’s not quite comfortable with me and
my boyfriend yet, and even though he seems to be using his cat tree and
exploring while we sleep, he hasn’t come out from under our bed while
we’re awake in the room. We’re making baby steps though! He’s inching
closer to the edge of the bed when we hang out with him, and doesn’t
seem to be so hyper alert anymore.”
2.5 weeks: “2 nights ago he
let us pat him for the first time! For the last 2 days we’ve been
giving him lots of chin scratches, and he’s even started walking over to
us when we put our hands out. He isn’t comfy coming out from under the
bed to do anything but eat and pee, but I’ve managed to lure him halfway
out quite a few times with chin scratches, so I can’t imagine it will
be long now!”
6 weeks: “He’s going well! Still spending most of
his time under the bed, pretty jumpy at most things but we’re making
progress little by little. It’ll be a while before he’s comfortable, but
he’s already a super affectionate, vocal boy and we love him to bits”
How wonderful that he found a patient loving home!
