He has arrived

Giovanni. With a scratchy pole, a bed and a brand new cloth cat carrier. The telephone is already ringing with enquirers for this ragdoll.

If only folk will phone for the Planet kittens who are now available. Mateo is booked into the Palace in 10 days or so. It would be good to say bye-bye to them before then.

Teddy doesn't seem to take any notice of them, in their palace, across the way from his play place.

I got a shot of boarder Estelle's lovely green eyes because she had discarded the puffer jacket. . . . probably in disgust that her owner hasn't picked her up yet. I think she will take a while to forgive that owner for deserting her.

Estelle
Bissie was up and about this morning. Long time since I have seen her feet. She is shedding masses of hair. What a pity she will not tolerate being brushed.

But Callie is getting more interactive. Don't think it will be long before she likes to be groomed.

Mike doesn't look like he will ever need to be brushed. . . I can do it myself

Door charm

Lola does like having all the junk moved off "her" table. In the mornings she sits there while waiting for her breakfast. I can't decide if she likes the sun on her back, the purring noise that the air makes as it is sucked through the door gap or the breeze that comes in.

Of course, it might just be a good vantage point for her to track my progress towards her food bowl.

Irene asked me to weight Roxy's kittens today. The ginger, named Roo has always been the runt of that family and she is just over 1 Kg. Too light to be desexed.

We decided that the champagne's names will be Riley and Rimi. . . or Ri until they get microchips and can be distinguished.  The two champagnes are almost heavy enough. They are both girls and are identical. We tried very hard to seen some difference but couldn't. So one in the photo suffices.

This afternoon I noticed that Chester's door was open. He wasn't in his box. We found him pretty quickly crouching under the cleaning trolley in Welfare. He ran straight back into his stand alone.

I am sure that Alex could have told me where he was, if s/he deigned to talk to a person. (We couldn't find the paperwork to find out whether Alex is a male or female). His/her cage mate  Olive was adopted on Saturday. She would have told us.

Also adopted on the weekend were Choc and Chip. And they are likely to be returned this week because Choc is too shy. BUT WE TOLD THEM! (Some people don't deserve our cats).

I am sure that the nice man who adopted Goldie this afternoon will be happy with her.

The Planet kittens have been moved out of Isolation. They are in the Palace until Teddy moves elsewhere.

Planet litter

For some reason the stand alone in Incoming had been rotated by 90 degrees so that the door was against the side of the desk. I moved it back to it's usual position to give them lunch. Some of the planet litter have been desexed and have collars on. The boys may well have been castrated as well. But they don't need collars so don't get the sympathy. Now I have photos and names:

Neptune, the tabby

Venus (tabby white nose), Saturn (tabby brown nose), Mercury (black girl), Jupiter (black boy)

Mateo is to go to the Cat Show at Olympic Park with Tim and other vollies tomorrow. Tim wanted him in the pink, sparkly harness to show visitors how easy cats are to train. So we popped it on and let him run around. He didn't like the lead much . . . or the harness, but got used to it.

Don't know who else it to go. Ishi and Apricot would enjoy an outing.

Jasmine and Alladin would not like to go anywhere. Alladin is looking a bit snuffly.
