Leo fostered

A woman arrived this afternoon to take Leo home. Irene told her exactly how to settle him into his new place. She advised moving everything he would need into the walk in closet. Forget about him wanting to look out of the window for a month or so. Leo was enticed into a carrier and taken away. A little later the fosterer rang to say that he was happily ensconced in the closet and all was good. Long may that last!

We have more kittens in the stand alone by the Welfare door. One is a very pretty boy with champagne colouring, blue eyes and one grey foot and a black and white striped tail! Lots of outbreeding there. Tim suspects some ragdoll genes. I did take some photos of them. But my camera is playing up. And my phone accidentally upgraded itself to beyond my comprehension. So I will have to get my very young relatives to sort me out over Xmas. Until then, Irene sent a photo of the 4 new kittens in Incoming. They are very tame.  . . ie are prepared to explode out of the door as soon as it is opened.

There is a new cat named Hunter above Goosey. He is a honey.

And Tim moved Calli to Bissie's condo. (The rest of us were not brave enough to try it. But she went like a lamb in his hands (gloved) towards an extra piece of chicken.)

Charlie came in and adopted one of her foster kittens who had been moved next to Roxy and her newly desexed kittens. The mum is traumatised by her move from  what she believed was her forever home. The kittens seem to be divided into "don't care" / "on Mum's side" camps. They will sort it out. And Charlie will be happy with her new kitten.

Sharon was worried about Georgie whom she fosters. Georgie is very clever and spits out her thyroid pills despite Sharon's efforts at disguising them. A vet visit was arranged. Georgie may, or may not, come in to board next week.

I will use up Joy's photos from last week:
