Bissie adopted

After over 1100 days in the shelter by a lovely man who used to volunteer at Terry Hills AWL. He adopted an 8 year old cat from us from a foster home before we moved into Barcoo Street. That was 8 years ago. The cat died suddenly and peacefully last week so he came to get another cat from us. Bissie suited him. Luckily Joy took a photo of her last week. (When I went to take a photo of her empty condo this afternoon, my camera would not turn on and my phone was out of battery! Thank goodness for Joy.)

Callie will probably go into her condo. To have Chai on one side. (She is a trendy cat. She has a green dish. . . . for matcha ie green tea in Japanese. Chai is Hindi for tea, I think)

And Amie on the other side.

And Dory below.

Opposite were the three kittens who were part of the 6 who were in Better Row for a while. Dash has been moved to Incoming because he as been adopted and one of the three has had spectacular diarrhea. Oreo and Tiger may have it as well. Or instead of Dash. The only way to tell is to separate them. The cleaning crew did a splendid job on their condo.

There is a new mum and her five kittens in Isolation. I don't think they are sick. Mum has the upstairs condo so can get away from the little ones. They don't like the arrangement very much. But she does. No names yet.

This afternoon an enthusiastic vollie checked all the food in the kitchen fridge. It was all out of date. Mostly by several years. So it was all thrown away. Sorry if somebody was saving something for a rainy day. It was past its use by date. I defrosted the fridge. It is now clean and empty. (But I don't imagine it will stay that way for long.)
