Princess Peanut prepares

Occasionally I have spoken to a person from "council" about the paperwork for one of our adopted cats. Her name is Carly and she is always positive and agreeable.

Today she came in to meet Peanut because she is ready for another cat (her previous one died at 17 years old) and she has followed our website for months. She met Peanut and Peanut liked her while she fell further in love with Peanut. We quickly showed her some other cats but she still loved Peanut and said she would be  back on Saturday to adopt her. By the end of the afternoon she has reorganised her work schedule so that she can come and adopt Peanut tomorrow. I gave her a special dinner ro ready her for the trip to the Entrance.

On a sadder note, we reorganised Julie and Bass's enclosure because Julie died on the weekend. We removed the hemispherical perspex topped thing because it was mostly Julie who used it. Recently Bassuria has retired to the carrier. And we gave him a scratchy pole instead which he immediately christened.

We also changed the scratchy pole in Kenny and Pablo's enclosure to one that came in today, with Charlie. They approved. So much so that it is hard to tell, by behaviour, who is Kenny and who is Pablo. One of them seems to have a sore back leg.

Tyrone and Dotti are not listed as "bonded" but they are acting more bonded every week.

While Maxi, their brother, is getting less wary of people.

Dinesh and Gideon swapped secrets.

While Ravyn helped out in the office.

(But Kath's brilliant photo of her sitting on the office chair watching the cats on the open lap top won't upload.)
