1 day: They have eaten wet food and have drunk water.

1 week: They’re eating well and are still in hiding.

1 month: They have been renamed Caocao and Liubei. Caocao started to look outside of the safe room about a week ago. Liubei is still in hiding and is scared of people.

Courtney

1 day: She has had a great start and is very happy in her safe room. She has used the litter and is eating and drinking well. They are getting lots of purrs, head butts and some sitting on their laps when they visit her room. She plays with her toys and has been sniffing under the door to meet their other cat. They have renamed her Darnell. “She’s a happy girl”

1 day

1 week: Darnell is such a friendly, brave and affectionate girl. She is still not being accepted by their resident cat, Crawford, but are making slow wins each day. Their resident cat is an older male rescued street cat who is still settling into a house lifestyle so they are expecting it to take months. They do site swaps each day so Darnell is able to explore the house safely and she loves it. Darnell loves her food, uses the litter all the time and lets us know when she needs a cuddle! “We are so in love with her!”

1 week

1 month: Darnell is going very well! She spends an hour or so with Crawford each day but then they separate them. Her owners are hopeful that they will get there because they really like playing together. “She’s such a sweet girl who loves to sit in your lap and get chin rubs! She’s very happy!

 1 day: She's spent all day in hiding. She ate some biscuits but hasn’t used the toilet yet. She's still very scared so they’ve left her alone for a couple of hours. Her owner held her and she wasn’t purring but stayed and let him pet her for 5 minutes before jumping off and hiding.

1 week: She’s still scared of her owner so they’re using treats to bribe Pepper to like them. She’s exploring the apartment as long as their resident cat Foxy is with her. She’s very close to the owner’s partner.

1 month: (No response)
